55 Years of Beauty: The Gene Juarez Salons & Spas Story

Our story started with a vision in 1971, when Gene Juarez opened the city's first contemporary fashion salon. Fifty-five years later, that single salon has grown into a Pacific Northwest beauty and wellness legacy.

As we celebrate our 55th anniversary this year, we wanted to take a moment to look back at the milestones, the people, and the passion that built Gene Juarez Salons & Spas into what it is today.

1971: Beginnings

Gene Juarez opens Seattle's first contemporary fashion salon in the heart of downtown, at the 801 Tower.
